Directions of traffic on this street have been reviewed in order to have traffic in both directions.

Between the junction of the Agostinho Moutinho Street and the junction with the street configuration south of Republic Square, the property limits of neighboring lands have been demarcated, and edge walls have been rebuilt in order to make room for the pedestrian way as well as the creation of 10 car park spaces parallel to the track on the opposite side.

We executed dry stone earth supporting walls in order to stabilize the bank next to the bridge over the Ribeira Penoutas, as well as earthworks and excavation on the initial part and landfill in a large part of the way. We also built support walls of reinforced concrete to place the expansion of this street section in the continuity of the Jeronimo Pacheco Street.

Following the expansion and redesign of the Augustine Moutinho Street, Jeronimo Pacheco Street has also been redesigned from the bridge over the Ribeira Penoutas and the junction with Augustine Moutinho Street. Car park places were created in the left lane (17 places) in the upwards direction. This street became one way, with traffic allowed only in the upwards direction.

Under the same project we carried out the redesign of the street St Miguel, the creation of car park places on both sides (20 places ) allowing vehicular traffic only in the downward direction. We replaced the coating by yellow granite pavement in harmony with the one of the Republic Square. The remaining streets coating was completed in asphalt with all the features desired by the payer.
