Work site: Increasing the power of Venda Nova dam - Venda Nova III

This project, located on the left bank of the river Rabagão took advantage of two existing reservoirs created by the dams of Salamonde and Venda Nova, and the large vertical drop of 420 meters, achieved over a length of only 4500 meters .

This unit includes an underground powerhouse in a cavern, a hydraulic circuit in a tunnel and various auxiliary access tunnels and pits.

The project was to build a plant and an underground hydraulic system, operating in parallel with the existing power increase, allowing a very significant rise of the power generated by this facility.

- Leveling of structures and platforms.
